This Chardonnay from Sonoma is another easy-to-drink, anytime wine.  Chalk Hill is an area in the Russian River Valley that boasts volcanic soil and warmer climates creating beautiful wines that are more concentrated. When poured, this wine is medium in color like that of straw.  You will taste pear, apple, toasty oak and vanilla with a smooth minerality on the finish.  The wine is aged in French oak which gives it that spicy, subtle flavor and smooth taste.

You can find it at Costco for $14.99.  Enjoy it with mild cheeses, seafood or poultry.

Rating: 🍷🍷 out of 4 wine glasses

    Cheers my dears!
